1 Cor. 14:12
As Paul exhorts the Corinthians to “excel in building up the church,” he is referring to the Body of Christ, the gathering of believers. As we seek to plant 20,000 churches by 2020, these church plants are local manifestations of the Body of Christ throughout Asia, Africa, and Latin America. They may meet in a hut, a house, or a large hall. The structure is not the focus, but the people.
At the same time, these local gathering places become important as a church grows and is being built up within a community. NDI assists in providing a meeting place for these believers when it will help the congregation grow and reach out to their community.
