“Strive to excel in building up the church.”

1 Cor. 14:12

As Paul exhorts the Corinthians to “excel in building up the church,” he is referring to the Body of Christ, the local gathering of believers. As we seek to equip 20,000 church leaders by 2020, one of the greatest "tools" that we can help them with is a building in which to gather. They may meet in a hut, a house, or a large hall. The structure is not the focus, but the people.

At the same time, these local gathering places become important as a church grows and is being built up within a community. NDI assists in providing a meeting place for these believers when it will help the congregation grow and reach out to their community.
