By God's grace we plan to equip 20,000 church leaders and care daily for 20,000 at-risk children by 2020.

We believe in equipping church leaders because we believe in the Great Commission. Christ said to "make disciples of all nations" (Matt. 28:19) and that's ultimately going to happen as church leaders are equipped with the means and the message to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We equip these leaders with the means – through transportation, church buildings, or a way to generate capital for ministry. We equip leaders with the message by using creative ways to train them with sound biblical training and encouragement.

Our vision is to equip 20,000 church leaders by 2020.

We believe in helping children because we believe in the Great Commandment. Christ said to “love God and love your neighbor” (Matt. 22:37-38) and “what you do for the least of these you do unto me” (Matt. 25:40). So in the one act of helping children, we are loving God and loving our neighbor. As we have traveled the world, we see that children are at great risk, especially in the developing countries of Africa, Asia, and Latin America. To change the life of a child is to change a person, a community, a nation, and the world.

How do we accomplish these tasks?

We do it through partnership. For over 40 years, our Founder, Dr. J.L. Williams, has established partnering relationships with men and women of God in over 20 countries. The list continues to grow today as NDI seeks to build and expand upon this firm foundation through the leadership of our CEO, Joseph Williams.

It is through the work of partners around the world, men and women of God, that church leaders are equipped and children are helped. Paul tells the Ephesian church that after apostles and prophets, Christ gave the church “the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” (Eph. 4:12). It is these evangelists, pastors, and teachers that we come alongside in a “partnership in the Gospel” (Phil. 1:5).

We train and equip these evangelists, pastors, and teachers to plant churches - especially where no church has been planted before. We provide for their spiritual and physical needs so that they can do it more efficiently and effectively. We provide the financial resources to care for the daily needs of children, particularly through day programs, where the children remain in their homes in the evening, but receive daily food and education at specific learning centers.

Along with other missions organizations involved in the Call2All movement - we are taking part in a great work of God with a goal of reaching one billion people by the year 2020. We know this is only possible by His grace and through the power of His Holy Spirit. We believe God has called us to this task of equipping church leaders and helping children until His return – and we plan to do this out of obedience to His Great Commission and His Great Commandment – and to do it with excellence.
