Gift 1
Water Filters
$28

For the slum dwellers in Ooty, India, there is no indoor plumbing.
The local public tap produces unsanitary water. As a result, these vulnerable people are susceptible to all sorts of water-borne illnesses. Portable water filters provide an easy and cost-effective solution. Water is poured into the top chamber of the stainless steel container, and is purified as gravity sends it to the lower chamber. A simple spigot is used to allow the freshly purified water to flow into grateful mouths. $28 provides one family with a water filter. 150 filters are needed to help slum families this Christmas.

   Bicycles & Motorcycles
                       $125 / $1,500
Long distances...uneven terrain...hours
and even days of walking. The ministry of an evangelist in remote and under-reached areas is often accompanied by difficulty in getting from place to place. One of the best remedies for this travel problem is to equip these leaders with simple transportation. It is an effective tool for expanding
a Christian leader’s ministry area. NDI enjoys providing bicycles for grassroots pastors and evangelists, and motorcycles for leaders with regional ministries. A gift of $125 provides a sturdy bicycle ($1,500 for motorcycle).

Gift 3
 Christmas Love Baskets
$11

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government will be upon His shoulders: and His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 The Palestinian families who received love baskets last year through our Messianic Jewish partners were extremely grateful. This scripture was enclosed on a card along with beautiful pictured Bibles, toys, and other materials. This verse is so fitting for a people who have been under a “state of turmoil and violent oppression” as observed by our partners in Jerusalem. The love of Christ bridges the gap between these people groups, and we would like to distribute 1,000 Baskets of Love this year. Would you help share with more families this year about the Prince of Peace who loves them? For $11 you can bless someone with a basket of love and the Gospel message.

Gift 4
 Christmas Meal & Blanket
            $13

Suryamani comes from an oppressed community in Bihar, India. After her husband died her family abandoned her.
To make matters worse, she is losing her sight and will soon be completely blind. “Will I be able to get a blanket?” she wondered as she came to the Christmas program held by Impact International. She was worried that as an outcast widow, she would be overlooked for the free blanket and Christmas meal. The ministry team identified her and shared these simple expressions of God’s love with her. The Gospel was also presented to her with the promise that the love of Christ would heal the wounds of rejection and transform her life. You can help an individual like Suryamani receive a warm meal and blanket with a gift of $13. A distribution to 5,000 needy and homeless people is planned.

Gift 5
 Edu-Pack
      $20

A homeless first-grade girl in the poorest county in North Carolina was handed her own backpack. She just grinned from ear to ear and hugged the pack. She looked up at her mother and asked, “Mommy is this Christmas?” NDI uses Edu-Pack as a tool to share the Gospel with children. While these backpacks provide them with practical tools for school, our goal is to plant seeds in children’s hearts, so that they will accept Christ as their Savior – whether it happens at the time of distribution or through the evangelistic story included in each backpack. $20 touches one needy domestic or foreign child with the Gospel through the gift
of an Edu-Pack.

Gift 6
 Life Nets
                                $7 (gift will be matched)

Malaria kills over two million people around the world, predominantly in Africa. It kills twice as many people as HIV/AIDS. Falciparum is the most serious form of malaria, and the one that NDI’s Founder and Chief Ministry Officer, J.L. Williams, and another member of his African team contracted while in Sudan. Mosquito netting treated with insecticide can greatly decrease the chances of getting malaria for the poor and vulnerable in sub-Saharan Africa. NDI is working with another Christian organization called His Nets to get these mosquito nets in the hands of those who need it most. His Nets has found that these nets protect people from mosquitoes and malaria for as long as four years! A 2000 net distribution is planned in Southern Sudan and Northern Kenya, and His Nets will match your gift to provide these Life Nets. It only costs $7 to provide one mosquito net for a needy family.

Self-Support
                      $200

Philip Thapa needed a way to support his family while he ministered in the Bhutanese Refugee Camps in East Nepal as a worship leader. Since he had three years’ experience with catering, he approached NDI with a request to underwrite the start-up costs for a catering business. There were only two other catering businesses that served well over 100,000 people. Philip saw the many opportunities available to provide food and supplies at weddings, social and religious events, and Christian seminars and conferences. Today, Philip has his own business and a shop in the local market. He is able to provide for his family while still being able to focus on his music ministry. You can help Christian leaders like Philip become self-supporting with a gift of $200.

Gift 8
Church Building
                             $500

The Gamit tribal believers of Nissana Church have been worshipping the Lord in a small hut for two years. Yet in that period of time, there are already more than 60 believers congregating for worship. The shack is not big enough to accommodate all of them, so Pastor Peter Bhai Gamit requested funding for a simple but permanent structure. He donated his own land and the believers had been praying to the Lord for the needed funds to construct a sanctuary. NDI partners here in America recently provided the funding, and an NDI team visited the site after the foundation was completed. In a few months the congregation will be worshipping in their own building. $500 helps a homeless congregation move from a hut to a permanent building. (minimum $5,000 cost for a rural church)

Gift 9
LAMP3
         $300

A new Christian has been called by God to be a leader in the growing church among the tribal people of his village, but he doesn’t know where to start. He must continue working to support his family and cannot afford to travel a great distance to attend a Bible school. How can this young man (or woman) be trained to be a leader in his church? You can provide him with a basic biblical and theological education from some of the best teachers in the world through the LAMP3 Project - Leadership and Ministry Preparation through MP3 technology. For a gift of $300, a leader will be given his own MP3 player with over 100 hours of Biblical, theological, and practical teaching.

Gift 10
Evangelistic Tools
                           $50

A Jesus Film team is equipped with a TV and VCR to share this effective movie in a hut full of curious villagers in Nepal. A personalized Bible is given to a political leader in Zimbabwe.
An evangelist in Haiti is given a box of EvangeCubes to share the gospel on the streets of his town. NDI’s Evangelism and Discipleship Fund provided for opportunities like these this past year. If you have a heart to save the lost, one of the most effective gifts you can make is by giving to the fund that puts these tools in the hands of those who are being used mightily by God. A gift of just $50 will result in the Gospel being shared with numerous people who don’t know the Lord.
