Ambassadors

NDI greatly appreciates those friends of the ministry that identify with our mission of reaching the unreached for Christ, particularly through our 2020 Vision - equipping 20,000 church leaders and caring daily for 20,000 at-risk children by 2020. Some of our friends have expressed interest in intentionally helping NDI to enlarge the exposure of our ministries to friends in their sphere of influence by being an Ambassadors for NDI.

What is an NDI Ambassador?

A New Directions International (NDI) Ambassador graciously volunteers his or her time, talent, and treasure to help expand and enlarge the exposure of NDI’s ministry by communicating NDI’s message to those people in his or her sphere of influence and community.  The primary role of an Ambassador is to focus on Great Commission-minded individuals and congregations in their community by serving as a personal communication link between those individuals and NDI.

What are the Responsibilities of an Ambassador?

1. Introduces New Directions International to people in his or her church and community.
The Ambassador shares the heart of NDI and its strategy of partnering with indigenous Christian leaders in Third World countries to mission-minded individuals, churches, Sunday School classes, Bible studies, and civic clubs.

2. Develops relationships with new and existing NDI church partners in
his or her community

The ambassador regularly maintains contact with mission-minded individuals and groups to update them on ministry developments from the field.  He or she also promotes specific opportunities for these American partners to support NDI through Circle of Friends, Church buildings, Leadership Conferences, Children's Ministries, Kingdom Adventures, or other designated projects.

3. Promotes unity in the body of Christ
New Directions International is a non-denominational ministry partnering with Bible-believing Christians from various denominations in various countries.  While respecting the different expressions of genuine worship connected to specific denominations, NDI is not concerned with promoting or favoring any denomination.  We partner with indigenous leaders who have already demonstrated their faithfulness to Christ’s commandments and in whom the Spirit of God is clearly producing fruit.  An NDI Ambassador will help various American partners see beyond denominational interests for the advancing of God’s worldwide kingdom.
