After a people group has been reached with the gospel and a viable church has been established, NDI has found that pastors and evangelists from those people groups are most effective at reaching their own people for Christ. These sons and daughters of the soil are thirsty for Bible teaching and materials to better equip them in their efforts to evangelize and disciple their people. Finding and equipping these leaders is the heart of New Directions International’s mission. In more than 20 countries, we are partnering with key men and women of God who are in the midst of growing influence and ministry.

Primarily through teaching, preaching, and writing ministry, NDI encourages and equips leaders on a monthly basis as they evangelize and disciple their fellow people. This is primarily done through the following avenues in Asia, Africa, and Latin America:

• LAMP Project (Leadership and Ministry Prepartion) - audio and printed material translated into the languages of our partners for use in training grassroots church planters and pastors
• Leadership Conferences for 50-300 pastors and evangelists
• Mobile Training Seminars, so that leaders won't have to leave their field of ministry
• One-on-one mentoring of dynamic young leaders
• Resource materials such as books, study guides, and audio teaching series for our overseas and domestic partner
